Fresh Eyes on Celebrities in the House

For some reason, I was under the distinct impression that, once the session started, it would be all lawmakers, all the time. But what did this morning have in store? Celebrities. Local and national. A-List and D-List. Not just the stunning specimen Vince Young, footballer extraordinaire wearing a gorgeous three piece suit and towering over Speaker Craddick, who couldn't wait to hand over the gavel. But MONTEL Williams -- king of daytime TV and on-screen hair-pulling -- addressing the chamber on his nationwide tour on the uninsured. (Also showing this week: "Moms On The Edge" and "Exposed! America's Dirty Secrets.") This is about as good as it gets.

Any chance we'll see some legislation to bring Parcells back to the Big D? Wade Phillips? At least it wasn't Norv Turner.

As a Jets Fan, it makes sense that you want to sabotage the Cowboys. Why don't the Jets hire him. He IS a New York kinda guy. He whines a lot.

Ouch! I actually like the Cowboys. In about ten months we'll see if Wade can get his FIRST playoff win. 0-3 lifetime I think? Bill has left him with a hell of a team though. Young offense, and despite his holding faux pas Romo will be great. Potentially game breaking defense. They need some help in the secondary though. Roy Williams is turning into a liability.

Shouldn't we be talking politics though? Maybe something about Stadium financing? The new Jets/Giants stadium will be the world's most expensive at a projected 1.4 billion. Financed by the teams and a loan from the NFL, no state money. That's NJ, not NY unfortunately. I'm still smarting over the nixed plan for NYJ to build on the west side of Manhattan. That would have been sweet!

Don't the Cowboys have a deal in the works?
