It's never too early...
Lege watchers no doubt have Harvey Kronberg's Quorum Report bookmarked, but if you don't, be sure to check out the Countdown to Sine Die sponsored by Sen. Kevin Eltife, R-Tyler. (Click on "Home" in the top left if you don't see it.)
Two ways to look at this: We're finally close enough for a countdown. But 35 days sounds like a long, long, LOOOONG time.

Soooo... Out of curiosity, where did Harvey get 10PM? I could be wrong, but I thought sine die was at midnight. 35 days? By my count, we're in the 106th day, meaning 34 days remaining...

Can't speak for it, but maybe they're thinking worst-case scenario? Or, if you fear they'll go right up until midnight the last day, it's optimistic. take your pick.

Yeah, they usually Sine Die in the afternoon - unless they're trying to pass an ethics bill during happy hour on the last day.
35 days feels like NOTHIN.I almost miss them already.

Actually, Sine Die happens whenever each chamber says it happens. There isn't a set time--and in years past, they've even gone past midnight by resetting or stopping the clock.
