Chairman Joe Driver: Life in the slow lane
I can't stop laughing at poor Joe Driver, chairman of House Law Enforcement Committee, whose bill was the very last one on the calendar the last couple of days.
No fool Joe, this week he wore a tag pinned to his coat:

And today, his bill wound up on page 19 - although he well knows, as any of us who have been through this final deadline-day run, that we won't go past page 15.
