Anyone remember when former Rep. Glenn Maxey, D-Austin, was fighting an anti-gay amendment many years back from Warren Chisum?
Maxey, a popular guy that none of the Dems wanted to bash, instructed the Democrat-controlled House to vote 100 percent in favor of the amendment - rendering the vote politically meaningless.
