Take your seats, please!

The House gallery is filling up quickly as we approach 11 p.m.

Former Rep. Terry Keel, R-Austin, is on the dais, accepting handshakes from House members on both sides of the Great Divide. It's a hero's welcome, almost.

Mr. Keel and ex-Rep. Ron Wilson, D-Houston, have been floating around the back halls, near the speaker's office, for the past few days.

There are probably only 50 seats available. Hurry! Show's about to start!
