To adjourn or not to adjourn??
There's been a standing objection to adjournment all night. The motion to adjourn has been made. They vote.... aaaaaaand.....
Of course they adjourned. 135-2 (Geren and Bolton). To applause.
The gallery empties out so fast it looks like someone just killed a TXU bill.
I knew they wouldn't refuse to adjourn.
11 a.m. Saturday, people. Tune in, and turn it up.

Speaker Craddick, just like Bill Clinton: Just because I can. The exercise of the power can be right or wrong. It's wrong here. The will of the House should be determined. Craddick knows he no longer has the votes.

Sure was. Watching it live on the House internet feed and reading the blog was like watching a sporting event and getting the play-by-play over the radio. Can't wait for Game 2!
